Hi and welcome to our Membership page. Yep, this is where you can find the Membership & Membership Renewal Application to become a part of a great circle of people who share a common bond: The love of this beautiful, intelligent, gaited breed of horses.
There are three types of membership:
1. Individual membership – Any reliable person eighteen (18) years of age or older, who is interested in or owns a Spotted Saddle Horse may become a member of the Association.
2. Family membership – Any family interested in or who already owns a Spotted Saddle Horse may apply for family membership. A Family membership shall entitle the head(s) of household and any children under the age of eighteen (18) to all the privileges of membership, except that only the heads of household may hold office. The husband and/or wife of the family shall, in fact, be considered individual members.
3. Youth membership – Any reliable person under the age of eighteen (18) as of January 1, who is interested in the Spotted Saddle Horse may become a youth member of the Association. Youth members shall be entitled to all the privileges of membership, except holding office and voting rights. Youth members must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Membership of any of the above three types shall become effective at the time of endorsement of application and the payment of dues.
